Mr. Hargarten brings more than 20 years experience building and operating technology businesses to his role as president, chief executive officer and chairman of the board. Mr. Hargarten joined NaviMedix in November 2000 as president and chief executive officer, and was soon thereafter appointed as chairman of the Company's board. In his role at the helm of NaviMedix, he is responsible for establishing the strategic direction of NaviMedix's growth and expansion initiatives and defining the Company's leadership as a provider of online connectivity solutions for healthcare payers, technology partners and their networks of providers.

Since joining NaviMedix, Mr. Hargarten has completed multiple acquisitions and managed the rapid expansion of the Company's business. He successfully led the company through a mezzanine round of financing, raising $27 million-the largest private equity placement in healthcare in 2001-from top-tier backers North Bridge Venture Partners, Atlas Venture, Coral Ventures, GE Equity and Internet Healthcare Group. Prior to joining NaviMedix, Mr. Hargarten co-founded and was chief executive officer of Kinetra LLC, an e-health services company and joint venture between Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and Eli Lilly. Previously, Mr. Hargarten held senior management positions at EDS and McDonnell Douglas Health Systems.

Mr. Hargarten holds a bachelor of science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
