QA Engineer (Cambridge, MA)

The QA Engineer is responsible for developing and executing test plans and test cases based on functional specifications, developing automated tests based on written test cases, and analyzing, documenting, and verifying system change requests (defects, enhancements, new features functionality). Collaborate with the Product Management and Development staff through all stages of the development lifecycle, and review test plans, test scripts, and provide timely feedback to the manager and delivery team. The position requires strong knowledge of SQL, a BS or equivalent combination of education and work experience, and 3-5 years' experience in: testing Web-based n-tier systems, working in a software product development environment, proficiency in developing and executing SQL queries, knowledge of Oracle, Web and middle tier testing. Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus.

Software Engineer (Cambridge, MA)

The Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development and installation of software components that facilitate real-time transactions between our customers and their trading partners. The Software Engineer will work closely with Business Analysts to develop milestones, assist the Performance group in application tuning, design and develop software according to best practices, and assist with QA in troubleshooting and repairing defects. To be successful in this position, a candidate must be a self-starter, highly motivated, inquisitive and must be someone who aggressively seeks knowledge. The requirements of the Software Engineer position include, but are not limited to: BS degree, experience in OO design, COM, SQL Server, XML, Java or C++, and 4+ years of experience in server product development. Other key attributes of a successful Software Engineer at NaviMedix include the ability to work well under pressure and a willingness to work as part of a dynamic team.
